I was honored to participate in the 25th anniversary Winter University, as an assistant to the 4th Team.

For me, Winter University has become one of the most significant events of the winter of 2024. Endless photography, an enormous amount of food in the cafeteria, a visit to the Bronstein Gallery, a trip to the Baikal Astrophysical Observatory, the sound of cracking Baikal ice, evening walks around Irkutsk, exciting evenings spent with girls in the dormitory, a moment of defense, an award ceremony at the architect's house (took 2nd place) and, in general, an excellent organization of the Winter Garden. It was a very cool "journey" that I would love to repeat!

I believe that everyone needs such an experience. Since all the guys come from different architectural schools in the country, everyone is taught differently, so the Winter Course gave me a great opportunity to gain new knowledge, and the ones that are really needed, they are even better remembered than in lectures at the university.

The most important advantage of the Winter Festival is communication with the guys, when later, together with a team from different cities, you can take part in another competition, come to visit each other, exchange some news, contacts and sincerely rejoice at the successes of your comrades!)

IT WAS A BRAIN EXPLOSION AND A STORM OF EMOTIONS!

I liked the format of the Winter Festival, it was the first time I participated in something like this. It's great that you could prepare for immersion in the project in advance, try to establish online communication between the participants. But, of course, there is no substitute for live communication, so most of the impressions are associated with an offline session. I liked that I had the opportunity to work at the Irntu Technopark, and I liked the excursions organized by the university, especially the trip to Lake Baikal. It was nice to receive gifts at the beginning and at the end of the session.
We've built a great team in a fairly short period of time. It was a pleasure to meet the guys, many of them had a lot to learn and the impressions were the most pleasant from working in such a wonderful team. It's great that the team trusted me to protect the project and I got a very good experience of public speaking.
I recommend participating in the Winter Workshop, because it is an opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a team, experience in conceptual design, presentation of your ideas, and public speaking. I think this is a good opportunity to add an interesting project to my portfolio and meet new people.

The most important thing to note is that the Winter Urban Planning University immerses participants in an incredible working environment, where ideas are born aimed at solving acute problems related to the urban environment.
I think I was very lucky with the team and the theme we were working on. Thanks to this work, starting from the summer session, I had an idea for my graduation project.
I recommend everyone to participate in the Winter Urban Planning University. This will expand your capabilities!

A very interesting and informative workshop organization. I have long dreamed of being a participant in the winter festival, and when I had the opportunity, I was not disappointed with the very interesting program of classes and leisure activities. It was a great honor for me to be an assistant to Professor, Doctor of Architecture, Head of the Department of Architectural Design at IRNTU Bolshakov A.G.!
We had a very close-knit team of like-minded people who studied a large amount of information about Irkutsk in a short time and were able to formulate interesting suggestions on a given topic. In the process of working with the team members, I gained experience conducting opinion polls with various categories of residents, whose opinions our team took into account in the project.
The team included representatives from different architectural schools who approached the topic from different angles. Participation in the winter festival is a very unusual experience due to the unique culture of the region, the beauty of Lake Baikal, and caring participants.

The winter garden is wonderful for people and the way they and We interacted on it. We gave birth to meanings and principles. The main result of the winter festival was people and acquaintances, which complemented each other and merged into new design solutions for the city.
The selection of people for the team was not trivial and even wonderful. The transport workers complemented the urban planners and architects, creating a real winter synergy.
Will I ride it again? Of course, it was wonderful and inspiring! Many thanks to the organizers and the team and warm hugs!
